Rumors have confirmed that this is indeed the "sex n' beer issue" although this is not being done to appease frat boys. We have exclusive interviews with the new inaugerated Chancellor Coombe, New Belgium Brewery, and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Shirin Ebadi...yep, we are kickin' some ass! <br /><br />Next week is Be the Change Week at DU and [dis]claimer is planning on representing hard core. Where there's a dunk tank, there's usually a bunch of newspaper hooligans plotting schemes...this will be an awesome time and so big that you won't be able to avoid it hahahahaha!<br /><br />Thursday is our big day actually for Be the Change Week and we are FINALLY releasing the official [dis]claimer T-shirt! Once you put it on, you won't want it to leave your body and for only 4 bucks I dare you to resist...<br /><br />And if that's not enough, we encourage/implore/beg/plead/order you to go to Critical Mass on May 26th. 5:30 at Civic Center Park (across from the capital) for a pleasant bike ride with hundreds of friends during rush hour traffic. Gas is three bucks a gallon and Congress wants to cut us a $100 check for the burden? Fuck that, grab your bike and join us!<br /><br />Cool.<br /><br />That's quite a bit of stuff. The issue is actually coming out on tuesday the 18th. You will have to sit on the edge of your seat, dripping in cold sweat for another whole day. But it will be worth it.<br /><br />Also, it should be mentioned ahead of time that John Perkins, author of Confessions of an Economic Hitman, will be speaking at Davis Auditorium on April 27th at 7pm. Perkins travelled the world selling out third world countries economic infrastructures to the US using bribery and other means. This places these countries in a perpetual state of debt for the benefit of US corporations. His book reads almost like a spy novel, only it's true. This will be awesome. Actually, at this moment we are working on the current issue (this is my way of procrastinating), but now the other editors are giving me eyes. We're going to have words soon, I can feel it.
